Kelly Gaines grew up in Northern Illinois and has been a Nevada resident since 2014. She has over 29 years of work experience with an extensive business background. She is currently the President and CEO of the Nevada Subcontractors Association, where she executes all business operations, including management of lobbying and workforce development efforts on behalf of the state’s construction industry. In addition, she consistently in collaboration with her 150 business members, trade association partners, CEO Mastermind colleagues, and various organizations in the Southern Nevada business community.

She is driven by her passion to create opportunities for businesses and youth in underserved areas. Her upbringing led to obtaining an Associates of Arts degree at a community college, Bachelor of Science from Columbia College of Missouri, and attending graduate school, while always working full time.

Ms. Gaines has been an avid volunteer with programs and helping youth in foster care since 2008. She is Board Member for a non-profit, Champions for CASA, an auxiliary to the CASA Program of Las Vegas. And is currently appointed by the 8th Judicial District Court as a CASA Volunteer.
